Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbs are plant or animal derived substances that basically work as drugs. However, with proper patient assessment through thorough exam and history, herbs can be invigorating and pain relieving without the deleterious effects of drugs. Our focus at Snapback is on herbs for musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis and ligament/tendon/muscle injuries.

However, some formulas are also geared toward enhancing strength and stamina in geriatric patients. All of our formulas are obtained from a U.S. pharmacy meeting strict guidelines for potency and purity and developed specifically for animals. Properly chosen herbs can safely be used in conjunction with joint supplements and western medicine pharmaceuticals.

Our philosophy, however, is to institute therapy with one therapeutical at a time in order to best assess what is and isn’t effective or what may be not well tolerated.
